Argyll Bio Technologies UK which is a subsidiary of USA based Argyll Biotechnologies LLc is focused upon the development of it's proprietary technologies such as SF1019 and other patented technology which is licensed to it. When Argyll products have completed clinical trials and are approved by the appropriate regulatory authorities for human use, their commercialisation is licensed to third parties.

The company seeks to create innovative products designed to help activate and support the human immune system. Clinical trial preparations both in the USA and Europe for a series of new biological products, developed from its' proprietary platform technology and other licensed techniques are well advanced. These trials the first of a planned new SF1019 based product series are designed to treat or improve the quality of life and clinical management of:

• Diabetic Ulcers - by triggering a specific adaptive immune response.

• Chronic nervous infection - with a therapeutic vaccine.

SF1019, which is targeted at Chronic Immune Demyelinating Poly neuropathy (CIDP) and Diabetic Ulcers, has in a small cohort of patients, been shown to be effective, have an extremely low toxicity profile and be well tolerated. More comprehensive formal clinical trials for Diabetic Ulcers are planned for early 2008.

A small number of patients in the Secondary Progressive and Chronic stages of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) have also benefited from being treated with SF1019 and we are currently considering extending our 2008 program to include a formal double blind, phase 1 /2 clinical trial for those in the secondary progressive stages of this condition..
